- wine notes
- Nestled at the foot of Sugarloaf Mountain, this vineyard boasts three distinct soil types, each composed of gravelly loam, and a variety of drought-resistant rootstocks, which support deficit-irrigation farming practices. The wine born from these vines radiates aromas of violets and blueberry that transition to flavors of black plum, dried cranberry and savory black tea leaf with fine tannins emerging on the balanced finish. Hand-harvested in the cool morning hours, hand-sorted to a single tank and co-fermented on skins for three weeks. Aged 14 months in Barrique and Puncheon French oak. Aged one additional year in bottle
