- wine notes
- This predominately Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc blend brings subtle power and aromatic finesse that comes from rich volcanic soils and diurnal shifts of the Alexander Valley. Warm days allow the fruit to ripen and develop fully, while cool nights help retain its naturally bright qualities. Aromas of blackberry and thyme lead to a palate of fresh red plum as notes of sage and cocoa nib show the complexity of fruit on the finish. 60% new French Oak, 12 months. Aged in concrete 2 months prior to bottling.
